Moodboard.

There might not be an underlining reason for this post but as i have stated in earlier posts its nearly my birthday (8 days till 18) and i get very nostalgic, this year its the 90s last year it was 80s and who knows maybe next year it will be the 1920s. However the decade of my birth has always been of interest to me. We have plaid, the rapid growth of Grunge, NSync, Backstreet Boys, TLC,Fugees, the evolution of Supermodels and a young Drew Barrymore.

I like that the 90s were subtle but still had explosive fashion trends, which made it a very iconic era.

Peter Pan Complex.

We have all had a period in our lives where we literally have tried to stop growing up. Lets face it the adult world is scary, it might aswell be a gaping black hole to another universe.

But the latest trends are taking a stance on growing up. I'm talking about a childhood revival.

Dungarees are an essential peice of clothing every 90s child needs. Its a great statement peice for summer as you can literally wear them with everything: the childs version of an LBD.
If your feeling nostalgic they come in cute patterns featuring childhood favorites:
Mickey Mouse
Winnie the Pooh
Bugs Bunny

Check out indie pop princess Marina and the Diamonds rocking the trend:

With a trend like this, the number one rule is too make an impact, for example accessories:
bright big bows
chunky bracelets and necklaces
& colourful headbands to make you look like a big kid.

And of course a great vintage or 1990s revival back pack is a must to complete the look. But if your not all that into backpacks i would recommend a bright coloured satchel, string bag or messenger bag.

For footwear, as grunge lover myself, i would wear worker boots, or Docs, however you can easily pull this look off with trainers. Nike blazers, vintage jordens or all leather converses.

The great thing about this trend is that the pieces are easily accessible you can find cheap one off pieces in vintage stores and charity shops or online in Asos Marketplace or eBay.

Happy Shopping

"I was just totally clueless."

Okay blogosphere,  for those who do not know i have an obsession for vintage clothing mostly from the 80s and 90s i have no idea why I'm drawn to those eras.

So my obsession started when i watch iconic chick flick Clueless and the Sabrina the Teenage Witch movie, i think i was  about 7 when i watched them, i love how the 90s were quite understated the colors were subtle and the back packs were awesome.

Love it, look at the that amazing red velvet dress with the over sized collars that Dion is rocking and the wonderful yellow plaid suit Cher is pulling off.

So i hear you say Sabrina the Teenage Which movie? she cant be serious. Alright so compared to Clueless, STTW fashion is much more subtle and laid back which is why i love it.

So do you see what i see? theres no need to state why the glasses in the top picture are fantastic and i love Jenny's laid back style. I adore that cropped denim jacket Sabrina's wearing in the last picture i love the color.

So want to try and imitate the style, why not go to Beyond Retro, one of the est websites for vintage clothing ranging from 1930s to 1990s clothing, the next best is Gigi Vintage now if your 80s and 90s obsessed like me this is the perfect online shop for you and the prices are relatively cheap. And Topshop does some incredible Backpacks.
Bon shopping!

Bonnie Wright

Her style is very classic, some outfits are the things you'll find in a 1920s courtasen wardrobe.
For instants what she wore to the Deathly Hallows part 2 in London:
Amazing Clutch

Beautiful

Simply gorgeous.
I love this outfit, the pastel pink colour of the dress compliments the gold accesories perfectly, and the detailed ruffles on the top half of the dress are amazing. I am obsessed with her gold and emerald chandelier earrings they're epic.
